Interior Cycling Tour ‘19
Another Interior Cycling Tour was organised by Bouwunie, the association of small and medium-sized construction firms and AINB, the association of interior designers, on Friday, 7 June. After Antwerp last year, this time we went to Ghent with interior designers and builders to visit four amazing projects by bike.
Cycling through Ghent, we discovered some really beautiful interior projects
We began at Bolia, a Scandinavian interior furnishing business established in an old chapel in Kortedagsteeg. Bicycles were provided by Bouwunie and together with a city guide, we set off for The Hub in Sint-Denijs-Westrem. Through wind and weather, because the unlucky ones got caught in a downpour, but that did not dampen our spirits.
The Hub is a place of inspiration for designers and architects. Innovative brands and manufacturers come together here to set up a materials library.
From here, we cycled back to the centre of Ghent, to Ampla House on Coupure Rechts. Ampla House is co-working space in a stately mansion. It offers not only offices but also meeting rooms, a lunch and coffee bar, fitness facilities and a large 500 m² garden.
Visit to the Luxhome high-end apartment
The last visit was a project in which Potier Stone is also involved. In the beautiful high-end apartment in the heart of Ghent, the kitchen, bathroom and toilet have been done in Arabescato Grigio marble. A Frederic Kielemoes design for Luxhome. Henk Potier and the Luxhome designers gave us a detailed tour of the apartment.
More photos of this project can be viewed in our bathroom references.
We closed with a networking moment in Bolia, where we had a chance to chat with colleagues and customers about a great afternoon.
