Can these classic cars get the better of our curves?
Last week, our workshop was converted into a real rally course for a day. We put all the machinery neatly aside to make way for the Inspire Classic Tour! The participants started out in Menen, stopped for lunch in Lochristi and then drove via Maldegem to the finish in Knokke. This was the second time the cars had passed between our marble slabs and we plan to make sure it becomes a tradition!
The weather was beautiful and everyone enjoyed the sun. The organisers had arranged for tasty treats and refreshing drinks at every pit stop. In the Potier Stone garden, for example, the participants took time out for a little dessert: Pierino from Ghent came along with ice-cream creations, while De Wafelmobiel served up delicious waffles! And a gleaming helicopter stood in the field just behind Potier Stone. What a surprise! An agility course was held in the morning and the winners were rewarded with a helicopter flight to Knokke.
